Penscape of driftwood for displaying fine writing instruments. The driftwood was collected from a bend in a tributary of the Kentucky River. Two pieces were selected form a pile of hundreds, then hand-sanded, and finished in 12 coats of danish oil, and 3 coats of clear polyurethane. As red notes in the top piece resemble flames, brown and charcoal notes in the bottom piece help depict an image of a burning log. Atop the flames rests a universal pen slot. Let this unique workpiece adorn your desk.
